About Sanger Community Church

Sanger Community Church is a 140 member congregation of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, a conservative Presbyterian and reformed denomination which is committed to strong biblical preaching, teaching and worship.  The leadership is committed to developing mature disciples who are nurtured, encouraged and equipped for Christ-like living.

About Sanger

Sanger is a bedroom communty of Fresno with a population just over 25,000.  After a couple decades of stagnant growth the population expanded by about 20% in the last 5 years.  It has since leveled off with the housing crisis, but there are new subdivisions all around town.  We anticipate that as the economy and housing market recovers population growth will resume.  Within the last few years sanger has seen a new Super-walmart, Walgreen's, Panda Express, Starbucks,  Long's Drugs as well as a new high school, elementary school and more school construction is planned for the immediate future.  In spite of California's reputation the San Joaquin Valley is a politically conservative area.  The people are friendly and it generally has a kind of Mayberry feeling that is refreshing in our world today.
